John M. Windelberg is a Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America. (GIA)  He is a full time jewelry appraiser and president of TRIGEMS Inc. of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. TRIGEMS Inc. performs Insurance Appraisals for individuals and also Estate Appraisals for banks, attorneys and individuals.  John is a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers and he ascribes to their ethical guidlines, bringing with him twenty-six years of jewelry appraisal experience. Mr. Windelberg holds a Bachelor's Degree from Wake Forest University. He is a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians, North Carolina Jewelers Association and Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC). In 2009 he was admitted to membership of the Scottish Gemmological Association.
